The expansion of the NBA in the 1989/90 season saw four teams pitched into the battle and the arrival of the Orlando Magic saw Orlando host their first ever professional sports team. This was a great boon for the area and even though it took the team some time to get up to speed and playing like the fans were hoping they would, they started to make their mark. This was good because the team already made its mark on the city with residents and tourists flocking to see the team. Having the opportunity to see some of the biggest names in basketball on your own doorstep or when you are on holiday was too exciting a prospect to miss out on and the Magic were soon playing in front of huge crowds.

However, the real magic started to happen when the Orlando Magic established themselves as a major team in the Eastern Conference with the mid 90s firmly putting the team on the map. The arrival of Shaquille O’Neal in 1992 from Louisiana State University was a special capture and helped the Magic pick up. There was a lot of hype surrounding the talent of O’Neal but he managed to prove this talent right and had an immediate impact on the fortunes of the team. At the end of the 1992/93 season, O’Neal was named the NBA Rookie of the Year, which was definitely fully deserved.

Another successful draft came the following season when Chris Webber came in but was drafted to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for securing the services of Penny Hardaway and future draft picks. The dynamic duo of Hardaway and O’Neal continued the success of the team, taking them to the playoffs in the 1993/94 season and then the NBA finals in the 1994/95 season. A defeat at the hands of the Houston Rockets may have been painful to take but it indicated how far the team had come in a very short space of time.

When O’Neal eventually moved on from the Heat, there was a notable dip in form and of course, expectations. This may have placed a slight dampener on the club but that didn’t last for too long and the Heat fans are definitely backing their team to the hilt once more.

The Amway Center is a magical place to watch basketball and the surrounding areas are perfectly set up to allow basketball fans to have a full day out. If you buy Amway Center tickets, possibly from ticketamerica.com you are guaranteeing a brilliant day out and one that can please all the family. There is no shortage of food and drink outlets in the surrounding area and there are plenty of places where you can grab prizes and indulge in some fun around the big game. Inside the venue you will love the view and the atmosphere as the Miami Heat look to turn up the heat on their opponent. If you want a brilliant time at the basketball, this is the arena for you.

In the great American past time sport, many teams have had their fair share of ups in downs throughout its history and the Chicago White Sox are no strangers to any of it. The Chicago White Sox, aptly name after the players white stockings worn in the game, came into the Major League ready & raring to go as Western League champions. It made them a force to be reckoned with. Their good pitching collective helped them to top out at 83-53 as first place champs in the American League in 1901. The following year would prove to be not their best as they slid into fourth place and then again plummeting further down to seventh in 1903.

As the years rolled by and the team name was chopped to White Sox and the team would go on to rise again to gain the coveted third place slot. During 1905-06 though their team’s pitchers remained strong in the effort to hold hitters at bay in the American League it wouldn’t help them get to the World Series as the Philadelphia Athletics knock them into second place with two games behind. On top of this they picked up an unsavory nickname by local newspapers, “The Hitless Wonders” with just seven seasonal home runs. Despite this their pitching game continued to dominate and earned them a Pennant and while gaining a trip to their first ever World Series, all the failure & triumph would be over-shadowed on account of Chicago’s other team, The Chicago Cubs having a great regular season that ultimately brought them also to the Series that would start a inner city rivalry that continues to be played out within the regular season from 1906 until today.

In this first cross town World Series pitting the Southside against the Westside, it was a site to behold as both Chi-town teams battled it out. Traveling back in forth from stadium to stadium until the underdog team of the White Sox eventually won the series; scoring 8-3 and securing 4 games to the Cub’s 2. The history books hold the accounts but the action experienced is still alive today.

More twist in turns would come and go in the life of this hitless team many years down the line, including the new stadium, the Sox and New York Giants European tour attend by the British Royal Family in 1913, the contract purchasing of Shoeless Joe Jackson and the 1931 death of the teams owner Charles Comiskey. In 1933 with Chicago hosting the World’s Fair that year, it also gave birth to the All-Star game concept where Babe Ruth clocked the only home run thus become a annual event as league battled league. In 2008, the Sox returned to the World Series some 88years later, beating the Los Angeles Angels.

U.S. Cellular Field has been home to the Sox since opening in 1991. Formerly known as Comiskey Park, it is affectionately sometimes referred to as “The Cell”. Located at 333 West 35th Street in Chicago, Illinois, the surface is Bluegrass and the venue is currently owned by the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority. Renovations over the years of 2001 to 2006 have increased seating capacity to 47,609; also the record attendance set on July 15, 2003 at the 74th All Star Game.

The bronze statues of Luis Aparicio and Nellie Fox welcome fans to this fantastic venue. Other attractions include the fan deck that offers a double tiered view of the field and convenient access to concessions and other amenities. A rain room, patio, sports bar, t-shirt shop, United Scout seats, Comcast Fundamental deck and the Chicagoland plumbing council shower are just some of the features that keep fans coming back to U.S. Cellular Field time and again to enjoy games that the Chicago White Sox play.

Chicago White Sox tickets are a snap when you use Ticket America. U.S. Cellular Field has been renovated and upgraded to provide an excellent ball game experience for virtually any budget and seating preference.

Lsu Tigers Men’s Basketball Tickets And Seating Chart

It’s been a great new experience for the men’s basketball team at LSU. Although the entire facility will not be complete until sometime in 2010, the LSU Tigers were excited to practice in their own brand new facility recently. When the construction is complete, there will be a new media room, new team dressing room, equipment facilities, training facilities and two practice gyms; the latter of which has already been finished and made available to the players recently. Although the LSU Tigers were not the first to use the new facilities (the women’s basketball team used them the previous weekend), they made good use of the 11,324 square foot gym which is an exact replica of the Maravich Center competition court.

Fans, coaches, staff and team members are optimistic that the new gyms will allow the team to create more focus and concentration on their game skills and build a longer repertoire of wins. Thus far, the LSU Tigers have won games against UL-Monroe, Indiana State, Western Kentucky and UL-Lafayette. Perhaps there’s no connection whatsoever, but all of the winning games have been played at the Maravich Center. By contrast, the two away games in the season tip-off against Connecticut and Arizona State were losses for the LSU Tigers. Connecticut beat the Tigers 81-55 and Arizona State dusted the LSU Tigers 71-52.

With plenty of games ahead in the 2009-2010 season and quite a few of the games scheduled at home, there are plenty of opportunities for the LSU Tigers to make this their best season ever. Once finals are complete, the LSU Tigers will return to the court for December games against Northwestern State, Southeastern Louisiana, Nicholls and Rice. The start of the Cougar Hardwood Classic marks the rest of the games in December for the LSU Tigers with games against Washington State and Xavier (Ohio).

Recognized officially as the Pete Maravich Assembly Center at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, it takes its name from Peter Press Maravich (23), all-century team member whose list of accomplishments for the LSU Tigers stretches a mile long but whose life ended suddenly in 1988. Affectionately referred to by most as simply Maravich Center, this two-level facility has been the home to many great games played by the LSU Tigers men’s basketball team.

The upper level has sections 304 through 337 designated as the student section. Sections 202, 203, 102, 103 and part of 104 are also set aside for students. So, when making your seating selections, be sure to keep this in mind. Ample seating throughout the rest of the entire venue offer excellent sites from every seat. Maravich Center is a spacious venue that takes every seat to the game for an experience watching the LSU Tigers heat up the court. If you haven’t take advantage of the opportunity to experience the LSU Tigers in motion, you owe it to yourself to get tickets to some of these great games held at Maravich Center.

As the LSU Tigers move into the season, there are 13 games scheduled at the Maravich Center and whether you want to attend all of these games or just a chosen one or two, there’s no question that great seats are still available to see the LSU Tigers take on opponents like Utah, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Georgia and McNeese State.

Now is the perfect time to score group seating in your ideal location and ensure that you don’t miss one single moment of the action as the LSU Tigers prepare to hit the new gym in practice and hone their skills for the upcoming games.

Ticket America has your LSU Tigers Mens Basketball Tickets but they wont be here forever so get your choice seats now! Students and fans alike can enjoy every exciting moment of the action that takes place at LSU Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The New York Jets took home a win against the Buffalo Bills recently with a final score 19-13. They’ll be taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on December 13 and fans are optimistic that this will be another win for the New York Jets. The preseason was good to the New York Jets as they won games against New York (27-25) and Philadelphia (38-27). Critics may argue that on the flip side of their preseason games, the New York Jets also lost two games against St. Louis (20-23) and Baltimore (23-24); the latter of which was a very close game for both teams but not close enough for the Jets to take home the victory.

The regular season has been even more fascinating for the New York Jets from the start of the season with a win against Houston (24-7) to their last two winning games against Buffalo and Carolina (17-6). Remaining games for the regular season should be relatively interesting, to say the least with opponents like Atlanta, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Tampa Bay left to play. As the remaining games approach, the New York Jets will be taking the field without injured players Robert Turner (knee), Donald Strickland (concussion) and Dwight Lowery (ankle) who will definitely not play the rest of the season.

Also on the injured roster but a probable to play are members Eric Smith (back), Calvin pace (shoulder), Jim Leonhard (thumb), Mark Sanchez (knee), D’Brickashaw Ferguson (hamstring) and Shaun Ellis (knee). Fans may be most anxious to see Ellis (92) return to the field but are looking forward to seeing all able players display their respective talents in the game rather than on the bench.

Located at State Route 120 and State Route 3 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Giants Stadium is a part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex that is owned and operated by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. It is the third largest NFL complex in the country but also the ninth-oldest still in use. As a result, those who wish to experience Giants Stadium should plan to get tickets right away as the days of this venue are numbered and its demolition is planned for 2010 when a new Meadowlands Stadium will be opened.

Seating options at Giants Stadium, which is home to the New York Giants, New York Jets and New York Red Bulls, includes four different level options: Lower, Mezzanine, Upper Center and Upper Endzone. Gates A, B, C, D and the Stadium Club Entrance provide easy entrance from all sides to put you closer to your selected seating. Current seating capacity is 80,200; more than enough seating with excellent sites to please even the most discriminating fan with the perfect location.

Tailgating options are available for those who choose to get the party started in the parking lot before the game. Parking lots at Giants Stadium are open five hours prior to kickoff. For many fans, the tailgating experience is a tradition that is a must. Although open parking spaces should not be used to tailgate nor is tailgating permitted in the parking garage, it is still possible to throw the best tailgate parties in the world before the New York Jets hit the field to play.

Individual, half-season and season tickets are just a few of the choices available when it comes to attending a New York Jets home game. So whether you want to hang out in the Terrace Suites or nestle in close to the front row club seating, the choice is yours. With a limited number of games left to be played in the existing Giants Stadium, there’s never been a better time to get to one or more of the New York Jets games.

Ticket America has your New York Jets Tickets for all of the upcoming games. The existing Giants Stadiumwill be demolished in 2010, so its a great time to get seats before this historic venue is torn down!

Fortunately for the Los Angeles Angels, the injury list only has two players on it currently. Fans can expect to hear from all their favorite broadcasters for the 2010 season as well. World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) is a simulated sport that’s as real as it gets for many fans, who swear by the various wrestlers who participate in Raw, SmackDown, WWE Superstars Divas, WrestleMania, ECW and Hell in a Cell. The WWE community has been stunned and saddened by the recent death of Edward “Umaga” Fatu who died of a heart attack at the age of 36.

Founded in 1952, WWE was started by Roderick McMahon and Toots Mondt. Currently, Vince McMahon is the Chairman and CEO with family members Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Linda McMahon helping to run the show from every aspect of global media to creative development. WWE may seem like a lot of theatrics and loud talking but WWE represents the industry leaders when it comes to professional wrestling and sports entertainment with more than 560 employees (not including wrestlers) and revenue that exceeded $526 million dollars in 2008.

You may remember the fantastic publicity that Vince McMahon gained during the Monday night wrestling promotions where one person was the lucky recipient of a million dollars each week. Rating soared through the roof as eagerly anticipating fans and contest participants waited to see if they would be the winner of the million dollars. The WWE televised events are not the only way that you can get your major enjoyment from their particular brand of professional wrestling. There are many Internet and live investment as well as film, music and direct sales that take WWE to the next level.

No fan will argue to the contrary, however, that the best way to enjoy WWE is to get to see it live. Although it is a simulated sport, it is precisely this smack talking and antics in and around the ring that drives fans crazy and keeps them coming back for more time and again. From pay per view events where crowds pack venues and sell out tickets months before the actual event comes to town.

Many fans and wrestlers themselves will tell you that it is the extra action-packed confrontational style that adds more than a little umph to each performance where wrestlers are decked out in colorful, tight fitting costumes that show off every muscle. People of all ages gather at WWE events because they combine a talented and unique collection of theater, acting and wrestling. There’s no question that it requires knowledge of how to complete dives, jumps and throws but fans are often treated to action that goes outside the ring and includes eye popping visuals such as chair banging, window crashing and much more. And the good news is that no matter who gets hurt and how on national television, it’s all a part of the act that’s designed for your viewing enjoyment.

When WWE was first started, it was known as Capitol Wrestling Corporation. It was a different world when athletes took to the ring in locations like Madison Square Garden. Around 1963, the name was changed to the World Wide Wrestling Federation but this name would be changed again around 1979 when the organization became known as the World Wrestling Federation. At this time, Vince McMahon came on board and wrestling greats like Roddy Piper, Jesse Ventura, Andre the Giant, Iron Sheik, Ricky Steamboat and Hulk Hogan along with the idea of Wrestlemania took this particular brand of wrestling to a new level. In 2002, the current WWE name was adopted where there was some dispute about WWF, which is also used by an environmental organization that sued.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing WWE in person, you owe it to yourself to get tickets to one or more of these fantastic performances and experience what makes the crowds scream with delight as the professional wrestlers take it to the ring.

This is the heart pounding action that no other Sport compares to! Ticket America has your up close and personal WWE Tickets on sale now! Also check out their sports tickets.

If you’re a golf enthusiast, chances are you took to the television religiously this past October to watch the Presidents Cup 2009 on the screen. Perhaps you were fortunate enough to have golf tickets to witness the entire competition. If so you had complete opportunities to witness the sport of golfing at its finest. If you did not, let’s start with the Presidents Cup 2009 Team U.S.A. Although the current limelight on team member Tiger Woods is less than favorable with his personal problems, there is no question that as a part of the team, he was a most valuable player and one of only 2 team members who has competed in the Presidents Cup five previous times.

On hand were team captain Fred Couples, assistant captain Jay Haas and team members Woods, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, Kenny Perry, Zach Johnson, Stewart Cink, Sean O’Hair, Jim Furyk, Anthony Kim, Justin Leonard, Lucas Glover and Hunter Mahan. The Presidents Cup 2009 International Team included captain Greg Norman, assistant captain Frank Nobilo and team members Geoff Ogilvy, Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas, Retief Goosen, Ernie Els, Angel Cabrera, Mike Weir, Robert Allenby, Y.E. Yang, Tim Clark, Ryo Ishikawa and Adam Scott. Veteran golfer Singh brought participation experience with the Presidents Cup for seven previous years.

The Thursday Foursomes took to the greens with Kim/Mickelson versus Weir/Clark in Match 1, Mahan/O’Hair versus Scott/Els in Match 2, Glover/Cink versus Singy/Allenby in Match 3, Perry/Johnson versus Cabrera/Villegas in Match 4, Woods/Stricker versus Ogilvy/Ishikawa in Match 5 and Furyk/Leonard versus Goosen/Yang in Match 6. Match 7 through Match 12 was the Friday Four-Ball games and at the end of the day the U.S. Team led the way with 19-1/2 points. The Saturday Foursomes were held for Match 13 through Match 17. Also on Saturday Four-Ball games for matches through Match 22 were held.

The Sunday Singles pitted the skills of Mahan versus Villegas, Cink versus Scott, Leonard versus Weir, Kim versus Allenby, Stricker versus Ogilvy, O’Hair versus Els, Perry versus Ishikawa, Johnson versus Clark, Woods versus Yang, Glover versus Singh, Mickelson versus Goosen and Furyk versus Cabrera. At the end of the day, Woods lead the U.S. Team individual player’s scores by finishing off a perfect week. Close behind Woods with just one loss on the Four-Ball and one loss in the Foursomes was International team player Ogilvy.

Harding Park was the chosen location for the 2009 Presidents Cup games. Captain’s picks for the U.S. Team were Glover and Mahan. Captain’s picks for the International Team were Scott and Ishikawa. Plans have already been made for the 2011 Presidents Cup games, to be held at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. As for the 2009 Harding Park games, players and fans alike whom were on hand were treated to the best golfing on greens that are regarded by many as San Francisco’s finest.

Celebrity coach Michael Jordan was present to receive a standing ovation from the U.S. team at the closing ceremonies. Jordan gave an inspirational speech on Saturday night about teamwork in reference to the U.S. team’s ability to win six matches outright and score seven points in the Singles. Of some of the “Best” recognitions were Ishikawa for best rookie. Ishikawa, who just turned 18, showed no fear against seasoned players like Perry, who is 49.

Woods and Stricker were voted best partners and received best match recognition for Woods’ 23-foot birdie on the 17th hole against Weir and Clark. Woods was also acknowledged for best shot for his second shot in Saturday’s Foursomes at the 18th hole par-5 when he landed nine feet for a conceded eagle more than 230 yards out.

Ticket America is your one-stop source for Presidents Cup Tickets for the 2011 event. These are very highly sought after Golf Tickets but Ticket America can help you get them before others do!

This American rock band got its start in 1999 in Nashville , Tennessee and is perhaps one of the only all boy, all brothers bands (we won’t name one of the others) in the country and around the world. Not that the concept of all brothers and all boys is new because it isn’t but Kings of Leon isn’t your everyday white boy band, not by a long shot. Brothers Anthony Followill, Ivan Followill, Michael Followill and cousin Cameron Followill are the members of Kings of Leon. If those names don’t sound familiar, it’s because all of the members use their middle names on stage so you may know them as Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew.

At the start, Kings of Leon was most recognized for their southern rock infused blues musical sound that had an upbeat tone to it. Over time, however Kings of Leon has continued to expand their signature sound to include a host of different genres. The result has been a more alternative sound that’s recognized as alternative rock, southern rock or garage rock revival in various circles of fans of this kind of music.

With a Pentecostal background, for many it didn’t come as a surprise that their first record was entitled Holy Roller Novocaine EP, released in February, 2003. It was the precursor to their debut album Youth and Young Manhood, which received a 4 out of 5 star rating from Rolling Stone magazine. Their second album Aha Shake Heartbreak was released in the U.S. in 2005 and featured hits like The Bucket, King of the Rodeo and Four Kicks. Fame wasn’t a stranger to Kings of Leon as they released their third album Because of the Times. Taper Jean Girl was tapped to be in the movies Disturbia and Cloverfield, adding more appreciation for Kings of Leon and their signature sounds and foot-stomping beats.

Holding four Grammy nominations on the table for Kings of Leon now and their recent release of Live at the O2: London, there’s plenty of buzz going on around this band. If you didn’t get to their concerts recently, there will be more opportunities to enjoy Kings of Leon in the near future. In the meantime, those who were fortunate enough to get tickets to their recent appearances were treated to a musical extravaganza that most will never forget.

Getting a copy of Live at the O2: London that’s recently been released is, for many, the next best thing to seeing Kings of London live and in person. The crystal clear sound and beautiful picture of blu ray. If you don’t have this exciting performance set by Kings of Leon yet, you owe it to yourself to get your hands on one of these DVDs before they’re all sold out. This is a band that brings vocals, music, lyrics and more to the stage in an outstanding manner every time the start to sing. Whether you like to kick back in your seat or enjoy a few steps out of your seat, there’s something for everyone and Kings of Leon moves you to find your groove and get into it.

This handsome group of family members has graced the pages of Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Rockstar and Uomo Vogue with thought-provoking interviews and hot pictures that keep the young ladies smiling. With more music on the horizon and plans for additional tours after the holidays, there’s never been a better time to get to know Kings of Leon and enjoy the sounds of music this band is putting into the music industry. You’ll be glad that you did.

Ticket America has your Kings of Leon Tickets with great seating choices for every upcoming concert. Getting these great Concert Tickets is a breeze with Ticket America!

The Philadelphia Eagles took home a win against Washington on November 29 with a final score of 27-24. It was a close game, but when the final buzzer rang, the Philadelphia Eagles were ahead three points and walked away winners. The next game is against the Atlanta Falcons and promises to be another exciting opportunity to see the Philadelphia Eagles in action.

Critics of this hardworking team may be quick to point out that the 2009 season has not been the best for the Philadelphia Eagles. They opened the preseason with a loss against the Patriots and followed it with another loss against the Colts. A third loss against the Jets made their win against the Jaguars the only one of the preseason. As the regular season began, the Philadelphia Eagles set about making a winning streak but periodic losses seemed to continue to plague the team. There’s no argument from critics, fans and even the team themselves that the loss to the Saints on September 20 was a deep wound where the Philadelphia Eagles suffered through 22 points as the Saints made more than twice as many points.

Perhaps a great deal of controversy surrounds player Michael Vick but there’s more to a team than one member’s past and with supportive and optimistic fans along with knowledgeable staff behind them, the Philadelphia Eagles can approach each of the remaining games in the season with anticipation of many more opportunities to do what they do best: throw the ball and play some really good football. For certain, this team has some great offensive players and coaches but they need to work hard on staying away from the penalties. There are those who focus on the stat sheets when they look at the Philadelphia Eagles and others who look at the sheer force and raw power of the players as they come to the field. This season, there’s a clear difference between the two.

Lincoln Financial Field is the location where all of the home games are played by the Philadelphia Eagles. It was decided that the team would benefit from a new stadium when they were purchased by Jeffrey Lurie in 1994 and plans were set about to begin building Lincoln Financial Field. Today, there are many excellent sites and fantastic amenities for every visitor who comes to this world class stadium. Whether you are planning to attend for football, entertainment or another sports venue, you will find that there is no other stadium in the world that quite compares to Lincoln Financial Field.

There’s the Pepsi Gate, SCA Club & Suite Entry, West Club & Suite Entry, West Gate and Comcast Gate, each with its own particular entry that provides the best way to get to specific seating in the area. Located at the corner of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, there are many seating options designed to suit even the most discriminating patron to Lincoln Financial Field. Also known as The Kings of Bachata, K.O.B., Aventura is a Bachata music group that got its start back in 1994. The members of Aventura are Anthony “Romeo” Santos, Lenny Santos, Henry Santos Jeter and Max Santos. In additional to Bachata music, Aventura is recognized for performing R&B and Reggaeton genres of music as well. To date, Aventura has sold more than one million albums featuring hits like Obsesion, All Up 2 You, La Boda, Los Infeles, Dile Al Amor, Por Un Segundo, Un Beso, Mi Corazoncito, Ella y Yo, Su Veneno and El Perdedor.

Unlike many new bands who start out with the intention of building popularity through the ranks of the general public, Aventura made their claim to fame by being true to family and friends. Group leader Anthony Santos was born and raised in the Bronx and grew up listening to many of the popular bachateros like Teodoro Reyes, Raulin Rodriguez, Blas Duran and Joe Veras. Combining their love of the music and family and sharing their interest in performing, Aventura first began performing for local young people and their friends. This is how Aventura gained momentum as well as popularity.

Aventura released their first studio album entitled Generation Next in 1999. It featured Cuando Volveras, their only hit single from the album at first. We Broke the Rules, their second album, was released in 2002. Their hit Obsesion would take them to the top of the charts around the world. Just a year later in 2003, Love & Hate, their third album was released. A year later, in 2004, the hit Hermanita put Aventura on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks list. In 2005, God’s Project was released and a year later, K.O.B. Live.

There has been no stopping Aventura ever since then. In 2009, they released The Last which made it to the top spot on Hot Latin Tracks. In October, Aventura joined the Hispanic Heritage celebration given by President Barack Obama. Aventura performed with great entertainers such as Marc Anthony, Gloria Estafan, Jennifer Lopez, Comedian George Lopez and a host of others. One thing that has set Aventura apart from other bands is that they have created their own unique style that infuses reggaeton, hip hop and R&B into a completely original style of bachata that includes both English and Spanish in the lyrics.

The Last The Tour is definitely proof of the success that Aventura is encountering at every turn. In November alone, Aventura has performed repeatedly to sold out audiences of adoring fans who have leaped at the opportunity to experience this exciting group live and in person. Starting in Chicago on November 20, every concert from that point through November 28 has sold out completely. This is, in no small part, a testament to the unique sound and powerful lyrics that Aventura brings to the stage.

The Last The Tour will continue through February, 2010 with appearances scheduled for Toyota Center in Houston (Texas), The Joint Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas (Nevada), Jobing Arena in Glendale (Arizona), San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego (California), HP Pavillion in San Jose (California), Staples Center in Los Angeles (California), Amway Arena in Orlando (Florida), American Airlines Arena in Miami (Florida), Madison Square Garden in New York (New York), Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and rounding back to Madison Square Garden on February 1, 2010 to close out the tour.

Already, appearances for December 15, January 20 and January 21 are completely sold out at scheduled locations. If you haven’t experienced the excitement of Aventura live and in person, you owe it to yourself to get your hands on some of these tickets today!

Ticket America has your Aventura Tickets now. Ticket America helps you connect with Concert Tickets for the best seats in the house!

If you’re a fan, you already know that James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo are the current members of the smash hits band Metallica. Did you know that former members included Ron McGovney, Dave Mustaine, Cliff Burton and Jason Newsted. Now you do. Metallica has been delighting audiences since 1981 when this heavy metal band first formed in Los Angeles, California. Also recognized for their skills in thrash metal, hard rock and speed metal, Metallica got its start when Ulrich posted an advertisement in his local paper.

Whether you appreciate the group most for their earlier releases that included aggressive tempos and fast instrumentals or are more of a fan of their newer releases, there’s no question that Metallica has played their way to the top in the underground music community as well has hitting the top of the charts with their 1991 self-titled album. Their prior album Master of Puppets had already thrust Metallica into the limelight in 1986 and received critical acclaim as one of the most influential heavy thrash metal albums.

To date, Metallica has won nine Grammy Awards. This successful band has sold more than 100 million records around the world with the release of their album Death Magnetic. With two live albums, nine studio albums, forty-five singles, two EPs and twenty-four music videos, Metallica has shined in the star light of having five consecutive albums to make their debut at number one on Billboard 200. Tragedy struck Metallica when Burton was killed in a freak bus accident where other members of the band only sustained minor injuries. It was a devastating blow but after Burton’s family gave their blessings, approximately 40 people tried out as a replacement before newcomer Newsted joined the band.

In May, 2009, Metallica was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. By this time, Newsted had left the band and been replaced by Trujillo. Both Newsted and Trujillo performed on stage and Burton’s father was on hand to receive this prestigious award in his son’s honor. In November, 2009, Metallica was on hand to perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s two-night series of concerts that were held at Madison Square Garden in New York.

True to the excitement that Metallica always creates at a concert, the band performed Sweet Jane with Lou Reed, All Day and All of the Night with Ray Davies, Iron man/Paranoid with Ozzy Osborne and outstanding renditions of For Whom the Bells Toll and Enter Sandman. HBO was on hand to record every step of the journey with Metallica for this fantastic event so you can expect the program to air on cable.

Currently, the World Magnet Tour lives up to its name in every sense of the word. Since January, Metallica has performed to sold out crowds across the United States and around the world. From the first concert, which was performed on January 12 at Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to their recent November 15 performances at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York fans everywhere have been snatching up tickets to see and hear this band perform live.

The World Magnet Tour continues through the end of 2009 with many venues already sold out for shows scheduled at Mandalay Bay in Vegas, Idaho Center in Boise, ARCO Arena in Sacramento, Honda Center in Anaheim and HP Pavilion in San Jose. With some much deserved time off for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, fans can expect Metallica to return to the tour circuit on January 19, 2010 when they’ll be performing at Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru. From there, it’s no stopping Metallica as they venture to Santiago (Chile), Porto Alegre (Brazil), Guadalajara and Monterrey (Mexico), Guatemala City (Guatemala), San Jose (Costa Rica), Panama City (Panama), Bogota (Columbia), Caracas (Venezula), San Juan (Puerto Rick), Oslo (Norway), Riga (Latvia), Vilnius (Lithuania), Moscow (Russia) and Belfast (N. Ireland).

If you dont have your Metallica Tickets yet, Ticket America is your one-stop shopping choice for the best seats. Nothing compares to watching Metallica perform live and Ticket America has some of the best Concert Tickets in town!

Here is a new musical that has taken Broadway by storm. Wicked, The Untold Story of The Witches of Oz gives new life to what has been the traditional story of the Wizard of Oz and takes a look at the witches Glenda The Good Witch and the Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West long before they became the famed characters who met Dorothy. Academy award winner Stephen Schwartz (The Prince of Egypt and Pocahontas) wrote the lyrics and created the music for this modern day new spin on the classic story about Dorothy and her little dog Toto.

This isn’t the same story hashed over though and it’s being met with rave reviews from many visitors who are enjoying this musical that is based on the story by Gregory Maguire that has become a best-selling novel. The award-winning contributions don’t stop there though. Tony Award winner Wayne Cliento (How to Succeed…, Aida, The Who’s Tommy) is responsible for the musical staging. Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (Glengarry Glen Ross, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Take Me Out) is the director of Wicked. Although the show is not intended for children under 4 and not recommended for children under 8, Wicked is an excellent musical that lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Wicked has already won several awards for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Book of a Musical, Outstanding Lyrics and Outstanding Orchestrations and continues to delight audiences around the country and the world. First opened in 2003 at the San Francisco tryout, Wicked has been going strong ever since in famous theaters around the world and on national tours. Visitors to this exciting musical can listen closely and hear some references to the 1939 original version of The Wizard of Oz in the back story, tying this new story line in very effectively.

When Wicked went on tour in 2005, the first week in July, it grossed nearly $1,500,000. The Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre was the location for this fantastic opening and many good reviews were to follow as Wicked toured to Universal Studios (Japan), West End-London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Stuttgart, Melbourne, San Francisco, Sydney and Osaka.

With a second national tour that started this year on June, Wicked continues to delight audiences around the world and has more performances scheduled for at least Oberhausen in June, 2010. In Sydney this year in September, many of the Melbourne cast returned and put Wicked in the running for nearly breaking the record for the highest grossing musical ever held at Capitol Theatre. The 2010 performances will begin March 17, 2010 in Oberhausen, Germany at the Metronom Theater Centro. It will be a transfer of the Stuttgart production but casting has not been decided at this point.

For those who have already had the pleasure of seeing Wicked at least once, you know that this great musical is one you can see time and again and it won’t get old. There is also a cast recording of the original Broadway production. Universal Music released this original album in December, 2003 and features all of the songs performed on stage except “The Wicked Witch of the East”. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see Wicked live yet, your chance may come soon at one of the finest theaters in your area. You owe it to yourself to check out Wicked and see what all of the great reviews are about.

If you’ve been looking for a new spin on an old classic that is as timeless as baseball and apple pie, then you want to get tickets to see Wicked!

The modern day tale of two witches from the Wizard of Oz is the story of Wicked and Ticket America has your Wicked Tickets. There are very few shows that offer Theater Tickets youll thoroughly enough from start to finish like Wicked.

I have been to many concerts and sporting events in my 43 years of existence but none has been more special then the night I saw AD/DC for the first time. It was a cool summer night back in vemont, the year was 1979, June 10. My hair was a little longer and waist a little trimmer but AC/DC put on a show that I will never forget. They opened with Live Wire then Problem Child. The Tour was called “If You Want Blood”. This was one of my more memorable concerts. I list below the remaining set list:

The following is a list of current National Football League stadiums, sorted by capacity, their locations, their first year of usage and home teams.

Stadiums represent a considerable expense to a community, and thus their construction, use, and funding often enters the public discourse. Also, given the perceived advantage a team gets to playing in their home stadium, particular attention is given in the media to the peculiarities of each stadium’s environment. Climate, playing surface (either natural or artificial turf), and the presence or lack of a roof or dome all contribute to giving each team its home-field advantage.

Franchises playing in a domed or retractable-roof stadium typically do poorly in the playoffs.  As of January 4, 2007, dome teams were 8-29 in outdoor playoff games. The only dome teams to win a Super Bowl are the 1999 St. Louis Rams and the 2006 Indianapolis Colts, although it should be noted that the Rams won the Super Bowl in the Georgia Dome in 1999. Conversely, outdoor stadium teams tend to do well in the playoffs. Through Super Bowl XLIII, outdoor teams have won 41 of the 43 Super Bowls held so far.  On the other hand, outdoor stadiums built in climates with an average January temperature of less than 50°F (10°C) are, by rule, not allowed to host the Super Bowl.

The New York Giants and New York Jets share a stadium (Giants Stadium), thus there are only 31 NFL stadiums.

    Duke Blue Devils tickets

Duke Blue Devils have made special preparations for Stephen Curry, and it isn’t just limited to the defense. The crowd will be at its rowdy best. Curry will surely be thinking about that.

Stephen Curry is the leading scorer in the nation and has pull off some exquisite performances; Davidson’s NCAA tournament run last season, was one such performance which shot him to fame and the one at Madison Square Garden which proved that the Wildcats (10-2) are big time players was another.

It won’t be easy, even for a player of the magnitude of Curry to walk out of the court smiling. The Blue Devils have put on two big winning streaks inside a rowdy and a boisterous building which has a seating capacity of over 9000.

The record shows that the Blue Devils should not worry much about Curry, either. The Blue Devils have a record of 12-1 and are yet to lose a non conference home game in nearly nine full years. The last match they lost at Cameron was in ‘81 and that too to instate and a non ACC team, the Davidson.

The Devils will be under pressure of not losing a game at their home court. They would like to repeat what they did to Curry two seasons ago, when they defeated Davidson, 75-47.

But that was a game when Curry wasn’t the Curry we know today. It was before the last season’s NCAA tournament where he led the 10th-seeded Davidson to a spot in the final four.

Curry is the best guard in the country and is a sensational player. He takes shots when ever his team needs and when he does, more often than not, they go in. At present he is not showing any signs of slowing down.

He continues to lead Division I in scoring, even though he had to change his position to point guard and has also been under a lot of pressure from the opposing teams and his fans. Unfazed by all this, he still averages 29.2-points per game.

At Madison Square Garden, Curry delivered when his team needed him the most. The crowd was awestruck and Curry became a phenomenon, each of his 27 shots at the Jimmy V Classic, were ooh-ed by the crowd. He missed 12 of his first 13 3-pointers, but after that he scored 13 of Davidson’s final 15 points in a 68-65 victory over West Virginia.
The Dukes have a formidable defense; they are stronger and conceded only 13 points to Virginia Tech in the second half, in their last game and defeated them, 69-44.

Curry will be getting a lot of focus from the Duke defenders. The strong defense will force him to take tough shots and make life difficult for him at the court.

Curry takes most of the shots when he is left free or ignored by the opposition, but the Dukes are prepared and won’t let him get out of their sight.

The Blue Devils haven’t lost a match at their home court since ‘81. The Dukes have a very strong defense and are ready to take on the best guard in the nation, Stephen Curry.

When you need tickets for the Duke Blue Devils you can count on Ticket America to get you the best seats at the best prices. If you need tickets Ticket America is the place to get them. To get Duke Blue Devils College basketball tickets before anyone else visit our website today!

Flight of the Conchords is a Grammy Award-winning New Zealand comedy duo composed of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement. Billing themselves as “Formerly New Zealand’s fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo a cappella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo”, the group uses a combination of witty observation, characterisation and acoustic folk guitars. The duo’s comedy and music became the basis of a BBC radio series and then an American television series, which premiered in 2007, also called Flight of the Conchords.

They were named Best Alternative Comedy Act at the 2005 US Comedy Arts Festival and Best Newcomer at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and they received a nomination for the Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2003. The year 2009 should be and exciting one. With acts cuch as The Dead Tickets , The Killers , Rascal Flatts , and Fleetwood Mac all touring this year, it could be one of the best concert years ever. This year many of the acts that were at one time stadium sell-outs, are now opting for some of the smaller venues, and with good reason. In todays economy everyone is more careful how they spend their entertainment dollar and unless seats are priced right and the entertainers are connecting with audiences, fans just won’t go. Here are some of the acts that have been getting quite a few requests:

Tennis originated from a 12th century French game called paume (meaning palm); it was a court game where the ball was struck with the hand. Paume evolved into jeu de paume and rackets were used. The game spread and evolved in Europe. In 1873, Major Walter Wingfield invented a game called Sphairistikè (Greek for “playing ball) from which modern outdoor tennis evolved.

Games of racket and ball (including real tennis in Great Britain, royal tennis in Australia, and court tennis in the United States, all of which are the same game and played indoors) originated from a 12th and 13th century French handball game called jeu de paume (game of the palm). Based in Seattle, Washington — the Seahawks are a professional football team that was established back in 1976; just like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers they started out as an expansion team, from 1977 to 2001 they played under the American football conference West division and from 1976 until today they have been part of the national football conference West division. Their current home field is the Qwest Field, the team owner is Paul Allen, the general manager is Tim Ruskell and the head coach is Mike Holmgren.

    Championships and important moments:

Despite the fact that the Seahawks can be considered as a new team they have had several compliments which are worth mentioning, they had a successful participation in the 2005 NFC championship and have also won six division championships, to ponder the American football conference West division and four with the NFC West division. The years they have a successful participation with the AFC West were 1988 and 1999, and with the NFC West they had great participations in recent years (2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007)

    Quarterbacks in the current roster:

    – Charlie Frye
    – Dalton Bell
    – Matt Hasselbeck
    – Seneca Wallace

    Seattle Seahawks recent news:

As everyone was able to see during the Chicago game, the Seahawks have a lot to offer and their potential is amazing, at some times during the game things didn’t look so good for them because the Chicago Bears were ahead of them in the scoreboard but later on with an amazing collective effort they were able to catch up and take the game to overtime when they finally were able to over come the Bears 29 to 26.

The game against the Bears is only a sneak peek of what up ahead when it comes to the Seahawks. The 2008 season is expected to have many surprises just like the one we saw quite recently, if you are Seattle Seahawks fan you better secure those tickets as they are going to be hot, just like a team.

Celine Dion, without a doubt one of the best Pop-music singer and composer of our time was born in 1968 Quebec, Canada. Her career as a singer began in this country and was financed at first by her home equity, but it wasn’t until the early 90’s when her terrific work started to get noticed and gain fame worldwide. An interesting fact you may not know is that the very first song she ever sang was composed by her parents.

In 1993 her remake-single “The Power of Love” landed her great work in the Top 5 records in USA, Canada, UK and France, in fact it reached number one in Canada and the US. “The Power of Love” was a song first interpreted by Jennifer Rush in 1885 and each time it was launched people loved to hear the beautiful lyrics and classic rhythm which best describes the 80’s. Some people remember this song as “I’m your lady and you are my man” because of its lyrics but however this great single is remembered those of use who have purchased the record can tell that the song is just fantastic and never gets old.

In 1995 she does it again but this time in French with the beautiful single “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” which means “So That You’ll Love Me Again” in English. The events organized in France to promote this song landed her work as the number one best selling single in France during that year and number seven in the UK.

1996 was a terrific year for Celine Dion because during that year she released two beautiful songs for which she is best known today, one of them was “It’s all coming back to me know” which starts with a beautiful piano solo and uses some of the fabulous elements of the 80’s in terms of its musicality. The second hit is perhaps more beautiful than the first, it is called “Because you loved me” and this one is said to touch people’s hearts because of the flawless combinations of lyrics and musicality. This single was so famous that it got nominated for an Academy award for best original song in 1996, it goes without saying that this single was number one in several countries (including the US of course).

Skipping a few years we get to 2003 when she signs a contract which extended until 2007 to perform at the Caesars Palace Coliseum in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is perhaps one of the most successful shows in the history of Las Vegas, every show announced was sold like hot bread. The Coliseum featured the biggest LED screen ever used for this type of events, the Coliseum’s cost was 95 million dollars and the screen 6 million dollars, the Coliseum also used a special humidity bubble ($2 million) which kept Celine’s voice as natural as possible during every song interpretation such as the 1998 super hit “My heart will go on” - Theme song of the movie “Titanic” released during the same year.

Celine Dion will always be remembered by her fans because of her touching lyrics and music as well as by the music industry in general as the best selling female vocalist in the world who has a world tour scheduled during 2008 and 2009.

Ticket America provides more information about Celine Dion tickets and events as well as the best concert tickets. Put yourself in the middle of the action and enjoy these fabulous events live!

The city of Chicago represents the largest city located in the state of Illinois, but also the third largest city in the US. This city is renowned for its beautiful architecture and has a history marked by important events, not all of them so happy. If you are searching for Chicago on a map, you should search between the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes because that is where you will find it. Due to its location, it has rapidly grown into a major transportation hub, but it also represents the cultural, financial and business capital of the Midwest.

The first skyscraper ever to be built emerged in 1885 in the northeast corner of Adams and LaSalle streets. Erected on a steel skeleton, it had ten levels, a basement and nine stories, but in 1890 two additional stories increased the building’s height. In 1931, this building was demolished in order to make room for the Field building, currently known under the name LaSalle bank building.

Enough about history! Today, Chicago is home to other more impressive buildings and structures, some related to different areas of interest. Since everyone likes sports, why not say a few words about the structures related to popular interests?

Americans enjoy lots of sports. Some enjoy football, others baseball, some basketball and so on. Purchasing Chicago Cubs tickets will allow you to visit one of the greatest baseball fields ever to be built and the home of the current champions of the Major League of Baseball.

The destination of the Chicago Cubs tickets is Wrigley Field. It was first built in 1914 and has been the home for the Cubs since 1916. The surrounding establishments, consisting of bars, restaurants and others like that, are commonly referred to as Wrigleyville.

The original version of Wrigley Field could house 14 thousand spectators. However, since 2006, the baseball fans which purchase Chicago Cubs tickets enter an improved stadium that has a capacity of over 40 thousand people, 41118 to be more exact.

While we are on the subject of sports, baseball is not the only one with performance throughout the US. Football is also a sport that doesn’t lack good representation in this city. If you purchase Chicago Bears tickets, you will have the chance to view the 2006 NFC Champions in action.

The club was founded in 1919, in Decatur, Illinois, but moved to Chicago in 1921. During the 1970 season, if you purchased Chicago Bears tickets, you would have gone to Wrigley field to watch the games. Since 1971, except for the 2002 season, Soldier Field has been the home for this team.

The original design of the stadium could house about 100 thousand people, but the numbers got smaller. Renovations were made in order to get the spectators closer to the field at the expense of seat numbers. Nowadays, there are 61,500 Chicago Bears tickets available for a game.

Going to the stadiums to purchase Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs tickets is still practiced today, but there is a more comfortable solution. Going online to ticketamerica.com will give you access to Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears tickets at unbelievable prices.

Have you ever wanted to make money selling event tickets? This article will instruct anyone with a website how to make commissions on any event tickets sold?Let’s look at the facts? Concerts, sports, and theatre events happen all over the world, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Why is that, you ask? Well it’s just plain simple arithmetic…people need things to do…they need to be entertained. With that in mind, think of the thousands of tickets sold every day, and all of the money being generated off of those sales.

TicketAmerica.comCurrently, primary sources of ticket sellers such as Ticketmaster, Telecharge, and Tickets.com do not offer and probably will never offer affiliate program opportunities. However, secondary source ticket sellers such as TicketAmerica.com does offer such an affiliate program.

Though it’s a cinch to be an internet affiliate for any type of product , there is one thing you will have to do first, and that is to set up a website or blog. You can do this by going to one of the many blog creation sites such as blogger.com and blogspot.com Many of these sights are free of charge and are easy to use. No matter what theme you want to make your blog, everyone is a potential buyer of event tickets. As I said earlier, nobody likes to be bored.

Once you have a blog set up, you will want to get readers to your blog. You will have to be very creative in doing this, so I suggest to simply “google” it. The equation is simple in that the more people you have coming to your blog, the more chances you will have of making affiliate commissions.

Getting signed up to an affiliate program is a little easier and takes very little effort. First, you have to apply to sign up to be an affiliate. You will have to give simple information such as your name, email address, website or blog url that you want an affiliate link to be placed, payment preference, and so on. Usually an affiliate program representative will contact you to verify your info. Once your account has been confirmed, you will be able to login and select from a variety of creatives(affiliate links) to put on your blog. Each creative comes with an html code that you simply right click, copy, and then paste onto your blog. Now that you have an affiliate link on your blog, and again depending on how much traffic you have to your site, you will start to make money. Many affiliate programs will notify you via email, when you have made an affiliate commission. You then can log into your account and exactly see how much you have been awarded. Commission % can vary, and the norm for secondary ticket sellers is 5% to 7% of total sales.

As you can see, an affiliate program can be a very adventitious way of making extra money. So if you ever wanted to sell tickets, here is your chance.

Are you planning to attend a New York Yankees game anytime soon?  Here is a guide to help you choose which seats at Yankee Stadium are best for you.  I will give each section a rating from 1 to 5 Stars.

    Economy Seats: 2 Stars

There are two sections at Yankee Stadium that offer fans with a more economical way to see a game, The Tier Reserved outfield and the Bleachers.  The Tier Reserved outfield consists of sections 26-36 and 25-35.  These sections are nosebleed seats and they are far down the line, but they get you into the park at a cheap price.  The Bleacher sections are better in that they are not elevated as high but as with many bleacher sections in most MLB parks a birds eye view is hard to come by. Bleacher sections are numbered as 37 to 59.  If your fortunate enough to sit in the lower rows of the Bleachers, you will be able to get a nice view of the bullpens.  Again, these two sections get you in and allow you to indulge in few extra brews.

    Good Seats: 3 Stars

Two sections that have a good view for a decent price are the Loge Level Seats and the upper level Tier Boxes.  Upper Tier Boxes are  638-670 and 637-669.  These sections are located down the lines, in the outfield, and still provide a decent view.  Loge Level Sections stretch from home plate down both right and left field lines and are numbered 602-636. These sections are more pricey than upper level Tier Boxes but offer a nice view of the diamond.

    Very Good Seats:  4 Stars

Loge sections stretch from foul pole to foul pole.  Sections 419-472 provide the best view of the diamond and are elevated just over the Main Reserved sections.  These seats are covered and provide protection during any rain delays.  Depending on the Yankees opponents, these seats can get pricey, but the view is a very good one.

Crème De la Crème:  5 Stars

Like all MLB parks, the sections that are right on the field and in between the bases are the best.  There are three sections on the main level.  The best is Field Box, then Main Box, and finally Main Reserved.  These sections can be confusing so just remember this breakdown:

    A.   Field Boxes 1-80 (Rows A-J) - These are closest to the field.
    B.   Main Boxes Sections 201-275 (Rows A-J) - Located just above the Field Boxes
    C.   Main Reserved (Rows 1-10) - Last Section in the Lower Level

    Notable Information:

-Alcohol Free Sections include Tier Reserved Sections 13 & 14 and the Bleachers.
-Monument Park is a special walk honoring those former Yankees who have their uniform numbers retired.  Anyone can enter Monument Park except those with tickets in the bleachers.
-Choose from a Luxury Suite, a Hall of Fame Suite for 16, 18, 24, or 30 people, or a two-hour party facility to hold an event prior to the game in The Great Moments Room.

Are you planning to attend a Boston Red Sox game anytime soon?  Here is a guide to help you choose which seats are best for you.  I will give each section a rating from 1 to 5 stars.

    I.  Bleacher Seats
    A.  Includes sections 34-43
    B.  There are approximately 50 rows
    C.  Rating:  2 Stars

If your looking to keep things cheap, than the bleachers are for you.  As with most ballparks these sections offer the least desirable view, and you don’t get a play by play birds eye view.  But you’ll be able to indulge in a few more brews with the extra bucks you’ll save.

    II.  Right Field Boxes
    A.  Includes sections 1A - 7 and 87-97
    B.  There are 12-30 rows depending
    C.  Rating: 3 Stars

These seats are located down the right field line and give fans a decent view.  These seats are generally cheaper than ones located closer to the bases.  Furthermore these seats get a lot of foul balls so bring a baseball glove.

    III.  Grand Stand
    A.  Includes sections 1-33
    B.  There are 15-20 rows
    C.  Rating: 3 Stars

The grandstand is located just above the Loge Boxes and stretches all the way around the playing field.  There are some obstructions due to support poles that hold up the upper deck sections, but are rarely in line with obstructing the home plate view.

    IV.  Roof Boxes
    A.  Includes sections 1-43 and 2-20
    B.  There are 5 rows
    C.  Rating: 3.5 Stars

The Roof Boxes are located above the Loge Boxes.  These seats provide a birds eye view of the entire field.

    V.  Green Monster
    A.  Includes sections 1-10
    B.  There are 3 rows
    C.  Rating: 3.5 Stars

The Green Monster speaks for itself.  These seats are limited and can be pricey.  The seats are located in left field and the view is decent. Also, you’ll be able to tell people that you sat atop the Green Monster.

    VI.  Loge Box
    A.  Includes sections 98-165
    B.  There are 12 rows
    C.  Rating: 4 Stars

The Loge boxes are great seats.  They don’t cost as much as field boxes but give you a close view of the field.  Also, there are no obstructions in the Loge Boxes.

    VII.  406. Club
    A.  Located behind and above home plate
    B.  Accommodates several Fans
    C.  Rating: 4.5 Stars

The 406. Club is a semi-private club which includes private bar, theater seating, and fine dining.  It is a more upscale experience and there is a dress code.  Tickets to this club can be pricey but the experience is memorable.

    VIII.  Field Box
    A.  Includes Sections 1-82 and 9-70
    B.  There are 12 rows
    C.  Rating: 5 Stars

The field boxes are the best seats in the house.  The Red Sox dugout sits in front of sections 22-28.  The visitors dugout sits in front of sections 61-68.  These seats are the most expensive but if you want to see the color of the players eyes, than these seats are it.

    Other Notable information:

    *  Children 2 and under do not need a ticket for  admission.
    *  Handicapped seating is located throughout the park.
    *  Alcohol-free Family sections are located in the Grandstands, sections 32 and 33.
    *  Some areas of Fen way Park have covered seating. All Grandstand sections and the infield Roof Boxes are covered.
    *  There are 2 Levels of seating at Fenway Park. The first level contains the Field Boxes, Loge Boxes, and Grandstand sections. The second level contains the Roof Boxes, Press Box, .406 Club, and Upper Suites.

    *  Seat numbers run right to left in all sections.

If you’ve ever wondered what it was like to view a Chicago Cubs game from an outfield roof top,  than this article will shed some light on the subject.

Wrigley Field is the home of the Chicago Cubs, one of the most popular and beloved franchises in all of Major League Baseball.  If you’ve tried to get tickets to see this team but struck out, there may be another avenue to watch the Cubbies live, the outfield rooftops.  There are several rooftops to choose from spanning from left field to right field.  I was recently perched high atop one of the right field rooftops, and I must say that it was a fun experience.  I was lucky enough to be invited by a friend who had an extra ticket so my rooftop experience was basically free of charge.   The doors opened a half hour before the game and we were let in promptly.  We were directed up the staircase which opened up into a large room adorned with hardwood floors, aesthetic lighting, and of course Cubs paraphernalia.  There was a concierge desk where the host of the outing greeted my friend, and which I was introduced.  As I panned around the room I noticed a gorgeous fish tank, a pool table and a sweet table with cookies and brownies as well.  I soon walked towards the front windows so I could get a glimpse of Wrigley Field.  Because we were on the second floor, the view was okay.  I had a clear view of home plate, but the rest of the park was obstructed by the bleachers.  Anyway, I grabbed a drink at the bar and headed up stairs to the rooftop.

Finally the moment had come, I was on top of a Wrigley Field roof top.  Once up on top, I observed a large surround grill where several cooks were attending to hungry fans.  Portillo’s hot dogs and beef sandwiches were the main attractions.  Bratwursts, hamburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches were available as well, so I grabbed a simple dog and headed towards the front of the roof to get a view of the field.  Opposite of the 2nd floor, the view was great!  We were still inside the right field foul pole, and actually the view made me feel like I was in the park.  I tried to get up to the bleacher seating but it was just about packed, so I grabbed a spot underneath, just in front of the railing.  In turned out to be the best spot to stand, in that the temperature was 92 degrees and the sun was beating down…It was Hot!  Also, there was a 20 MPH head wind blowing right at us which kept us cool.   I could have used a barstool to sit on, but the all inclusive beer and waist high railing provided enough lean on relief.  If there were any negatives about the experience, it most likely had to be the lack of sounds to the game.  Obviously there were no vendors yelling out  “Beer Man Here!”, but the lack of cheering fans was missing as well.  Even though the view was great, you still felt like you were a spectator looking in to see what all the fuss inside Wrigley Filed was about?

All in all, the Wrigley Field roof tops proved to be a great time!    If I ever wanted to throw a bachelor party or have a corporate event, the rooftops would have to be a serious choice!

Have you ever asked someone how they got their tickets?  This article reveals the different methods on finding out when events go on sale, how fans get tickets to sold out shows, and how fans get upfront tickets to their favorite shows.

As a ticket broker, I’ve had tons of people ask me, “How do you get your tickets?”, and a few years ago I would be reluctant to reveal my sources.  Since the evolution of the internet and the fierce competition that it has brought on, I find it better to inform people on some tricks on just how to get valuable, upfront seating.  First, I will start with ticket onsales.  You must know when a show is going onsale before you can even have a chance at obtaining good tickets.  Ticketmaster is probably the largest primary ticket seller to most events and you’ll want to get updates from this company. There are two methods to get these updates.  The first is that you can simply log on to their website and sign up to get upcoming events emailed to you.  The second is that since most onsales occur on Saturday mornings, you can check their homepage every Friday for any information pertaining.  Another recent source of onsale information, comes from Livenation.  Like ticketmaster, they have become a primary seller of tickets in which they also feature a newsletter that fans can sign up for as well.

Now that you know when tickets are going onsale, it’s time for the hard part, getting good tickets or getting any tickets for that matter.  The Neanderthal days of going to a ticketmaster outlet and getting tickets is almost all but over.  For example, in the city of my hometown, Chicago, ticketmaster outlets are located at places such as Carson Pirie Scott, and a few remaining record stores.  When you go there on Saturday morning to buy tickets they will always throw a lottery, usually by a security guard.  Whoever wins the lottery is the first person to buy tickets, and every number after the winning one lines up in order.  Now if you think your going to have a chance at winning the lottery, think again.  There are usually many amny people in line as well. All trying to get the fist sport in line. Anyway,  due to all of the internet presales I no longer use this method in that good tickets rarely come up.

Internet presales and fan clubs are also able methods of obtaining tickets as well.  Usually with a presale, you have to join your favorite performer’s fan club.  You can do this by typing your band’s name followed by “fan club”, into google.  By now most performers have a fan club, so a successful search should come up, but expect to pay a fee to join.  Once you join their fan club, they will usually email concert updates along with passwords to buy tickets.   Limited tickets are released during these presales so make sure that your ready to buy at the onset of the presale.  Personally, I have been successful at some presales, but I have come up empty during most of them.  It has been suggested that fee based fan clubs are just another money making trick in the ticket industry, and again from my experience, I would agree.

Another primary way of obtaining tickets, especially to your favorite sports team, is to get season tickets.  Depending on the sport this method can get pretty expensive.  For example, the Chicago Cubs offer different season ticket plans, and generally the larger the ticket plan, the better your seats will be. Again, this method can get pricey.

If you’ve tried all of the methods above but have come up short, than your next option would be the secondary market.  Ebay, Stubhub, and TicketAmerica are just to name a few.  I won’t go into Ebay that much, but I will simply say that tickets go to the highest bidder.   Furthermore Stubhub marks up each ticket 30 percent, 15 charged to the seller and 15 charged to the buyer.  When brokers put there tickets on Stubhub, a common practice will be for the broker to price his tickets higher on Stubhub, than his own website to make up for the difference.   Going through a ticket broker such as TicketAmerica is another option.  As with most ticket brokers, this company is linked to various other ticket brokers.  This is why you will see their ticket inventory posted on several other ticket websites.  Going through ticket brokers can be pricey, but it saves a heck of a lot of time and aggravation.

The internet has really changed the ticket industry, and it can seem like an endless maze trying to obtain your favorite tickets.  Hopefully this article can shed some light and get you in the front row!

Are you planning to attend a Chicago Cubs game anytime soon?  Though just about any seat at Wrigley Field is a good one,  here is a guide to help you in your decision.  I will give each section a rating from 1 to 5 stars that will further gauge each location.

    I.  Upper Deck Seating
    A.  Includes sections 503-538
    B.  There are 9 rows total in the upper deck
    C.  Upper deck rating:  3 Stars

Compared to many Major League ballparks, Wrigley Field in one of the smallest which makes it’s upper deck section not so bad.  For starters, the prices for these seats are usually the cheapest, especially if you choose to sit in the far corners.  As common sense would tell you, the closer you sit to the diamond, the better, so keep that in mind when deciding.  The upper deck really gives you a Birdseye view of the entire field and every play is easily seen.  The third base side of the upper deck has a good and bad aspect to it.  The good aspect is that a fan can keep cooler if the weather is warm and the breeze is coming off of Lake Michigan.  You’ll also get a view of the many sailboats as well.  The bad aspect is if it’s late in the season and the wind starts blowing in from the lake, those seats can become quite frigid.  The entire upper deck has a canopy overhead so it does give relief on hot sunny days or during rain delays.  Furthermore as with any canopy, there are support posts.  Good thing is that these poles are smaller in diameter compared to the terrace reserve, and the obstruction isn’t bad.  As far as food and drinks, walking vendors are in abundance and if you need a break from the game, there is also a food patio court that is located in the upper deck that is behind home plate.  You can view the downtown area from this patio and also purchase food and drinks here as well.

    II.  Upper Deck Box Seating
    A.  Includes section 401-437
    B.  There are 10 rows total in the upper deck box section
    C.  Upper deck box rating:  3 1/2  Stars

Upper deck box seating are closer to the field than upper deck.  These seats are more expensive, and depending on the section and row, can be just as expensive as a terrace box.  The best upper deck boxes are between the bases and 1st row is a real treat.  These sections have access to numerous foul balls and give fans a close view of the press box.  There are no overhead canopies for sun and wind protection, but that also means no obstructions!  Fans sitting in these seats have the same access to food and beverage vendors as well.

    III.  Terrace Level Seating
    A.  Includes section 201-240
    B.  There are 23 rows in the terrace level section
    C.  Terrace level rating:  3 Stars

The terrace level section is considered field level and is located under both upper deck sections.  Depending on the location, these seats usually cost the same as an upper deck box.  The view is good from these seats especially in sections that are between the bases.  Even the highest row of the terrace offers a full view of the field, but you will miss pop-fly balls.  A draw back of the terrace level sections is the obstructions. Any seat behind the 5th row may have a possibility of this, but there are remedies in place.  TV monitors and scoreboards have been placed in various locations above the terrace seats to keep fans updated on the action.  Though obstructions can be a problem in the terrace, there are many seats where there are no obstructions.  Because may seats are not marked limited view, it is a good idea to inquire about obstructions before you obtain them.  Like the upper deck seating,  the terrace offers shelter from the hot sun and the rain delays, and food and beverage vendors are plentiful.

    IV.  Terrace Box Seating
    A.  Includes section 201-240
    B.  There are 5 Rows in the terrace box section
    C.  Terrace box rating:  3 1/2 Stars

The terrace box sections consist of the first five rows of the terrace section.  These seats are almost identical to upper deck box, in that the cost is usually the same, and the seats have a full view of Wrigley Field.  You can expect to have a chance at foul balls, sunlight, and rain.  The first row of the terrace box allows for some great people watching as well.

    V.  Field Box Seating
    A.  Includes section 110-134
    B.  There are 15 rows in the field box sections
    C.  Field box rating:  4 Stars

Field box sections are great.  These seats can get expensive, but they are close to the action.  Fans can expect to have full views of the entire field, sun, moon, and sky.  These seats can get peppered with foul balls, so fans have to pay attention to the game.  The sections between the bases are the best and during select Cubs games, these sections get a great view and throwback sound of a trumpet, trombone, and clarinet trio as well.  The trio plays 1920’s era melodies that remind you of how long Wrigley Field has been around.  Of course, there are plenty of food and beverage vendors as well.

    VI.  Club Box Seating
    A.  Includes section 3-36
    B.  There are 10 rows in the club box sections
    C.  Club box rating:  5 Stars

Club box seating are considered the crème del a crème sections at Wrigley Field.  These sections command some of the most hefty prices but if you want to see the color of a Cubs player’s eyes, than these are the seats for you.  As with field boxes, these seats not only get peppered with foul balls, but with broken bats as well.  Also, players always throw a baseball into the club sections behind the dugouts at the end of every inning, so be ready.  Another aspect of the club sections are the Birdseye views of the bullpens. These sections are located down the line, directly in front of sections 7 and 8 for the Chicago Cubs, and sections 34 and 35 for the visiting team.  These sections allow fans to watch pitchers warm up during the game.  Again,  food and beverage vendors are everywhere.

    VII.  Bleachers
    A.  Includes all sections between foul poles
    B.  Bleachers are all General Admission bench seating
    C.  Bleacher rating: 3 to 5 Stars

Some people love the bleachers and some don’t.  If your in the mood to get a tan, get drunk, or check out some fellow scenery, then the bleachers are for you. Depending on who the Chicago Cubs are playing, the bleachers can get expensive, especially on Saturdays.  These sections offer a great view of Wrigley Field but sometimes you can’t follow the ball while it’s in play.  Of course a great aspect of the bleachers is the possibility of a home run ball.  Careful though?, Cubs fans expect you to throw it back onto the field if the home run was hit by the opposing team.

So there you have it!  There are an array of choices for seating to see the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.  Whether you sit high up, underneath, or close to the action, your sure to have a great time at the friendly confines!

Midway through their North American tour, The Police made a stop in the city of Chicago for two nights on July 5th and 6th.  Most concerts that have come through the windy city have usually played at the likes of places such as the United Center, First Midwest Amphitheatre, or Soldiers Field.   With the exception of Jimmy Buffett in 2006, Wrigley Field has had limited if any other concerts performed there, so it was intriguing to hear that this 80’s super group chose to play in the friendly confines.  The combo of growing up as a teenage Police fan in the 80’s and being an avid Wrigley Field fan as well, made this show  a must to see!

The show started around 7PM and  my seats were located in terrace section 220 about halfway up.  Even though it seemed that I was far away, the seats were perfect, in that they were dead center behind home plate, with no obstructions!  The stage was straight away in centerfield, and had a collage of big screens and lights behind and around.  The club and field boxes directly below us were appropriately roped off due to possible obstructions from various structures on the field.  Like Chicago Cubs games, there were the familiar sounds of beer vendors walking around and advertising what they had to sell.  At first I was worried that these vendors might be a distraction, but they did vanish once the music began.  The opening act was called “Fiction Plane”, and as they played  I noticed that the lead singer sounded a lot like Police front man, Sting.  Low and behold I found out later that the singer was actually Sting’s son.  I never heard of this group so just as most in the crowd, I gabbed away with fellow Police fans as I listened.  Just to say something , the group was tight and provided an enjoyable background sound to my conversations.

At about 8:15, the moment came.  With most fans in their seats, a large roar from the crowd applauded, as Stewart Copeland, Andy Summers, and Sting finally took the stage together.  For being in their 50’s the trio looked great as they waved and smiled out to the crowd that so anxiously awaited their reunion.    The group opened up with “Message in a Bottle”, and everyone was on there feet.  More songs followed such as “Synchronicity II”,  “Walking on the Moon”, “Voices Inside My Head”, and “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”.  Overall most of the songs were played perfectly, but there were a couple that seemed flat.  In the 80’s, The Police put out two versions of “Down Stand so Close to Me”, neither of which did they emulate.  Sting never hit the high notes in the chorus that defined both versions, which made the song seem out of key.  In “Wrapped Around Your Finger”, Sting alone, sang the chorus.  Over the last 25 years, listening to that song a thousand times, it was almost the equivalent of Sting the teacher, standing in his classroom and running his finger nails down the chalkboard.

Again except for a couple of hiccups, the band was great.  Summers guitar rifts were right on, Copeland’s beats were forceful and explanatory as always, and Sting worked the crowd with plenty of ohh-ee-ohhs.  The big screens added to a great visual effect and the sound was excellent.  The combo of seeing The Police at Wrigley Field was definitely an enjoyable experience!

Chicago is one of the most entertaining cities in the United States.  Not only does it have some of the finest professional sports teams, Chicago is also known for it’s exquisite restaurants and historic theatres.  If you are planning to visit Chicago in it’s summer months, then you will surely want to read on.

I’ll start with the sports teams first.  Probably one of the most popular baseball franchises in the country, the Chicago Cubs are a must see.  Yes, I know they haven’t won a world series pennant in 100 years, but with the nostalgia look of Wrigley field and it’s Wrigleyville atmosphere, you could spend an entire day at and around “The friendly confines”.  If you’d rather watch a game at a more modern park, than you will have to visit the South side residing, Chicago White Sox.  US Cellular Field was opened in 1991 and has all the bells and whistles of a high tech park.  US Cellular has outdoor fun showers in the bleacher areas to keep cool on those steamy summer days, and blows off fireworks everytime a Sox batter smacks a homerun.

Now after all that baseball, you’ll want to dine at one of the many Chicago restaurants, and since Chicago was once a beef stockyard capital, a steakhouse has got to take precedence!  There are quite a few choices for a great steak in the Windy City and many are located on or around “Steak Row”, otherwise known as Dearborn St.  Gene & Georgettis, Keefers Restaurant, Smith & Wollenskys, and Ruth’s Chris are all excellent choices.  All of these restaurants have great elegant atmosphere and no matter which steakhouse you choose, come hungry!  The steaks are quite thick and are always cooked to perfection.

If steak isn’t your fancy, than how about Italian?  Taylor Street is located just South of downtown and has a number of authentic dining choices.  Gennaro’s, Rosebud’s, Leona’s, and Pompei are all excellent.  All present a casual atmosphere, and have excellent choices of Red Wine.  I must not forget Mario’s Italian Ice.  This little stand has been on Taylor street since the 1950’s and is homemade with feal fruit bits.  Try the Grape Ice with Lemon Bits!

Not tired yet, how about a Theatre event?  Chicago has many theatres that showcase the Performing Arts.  The Ford Center, Chicago Theatre, Briar Street Theatre, and the Auditorium Theatre have hosted many popular plays and musicals for some time.  Not only do these theatre’s host great plays, the theatre’s themselves also provide a historic look back with all of thier interior aesthetics.  On weekends, showtimes usually start with a matinee around 2 or 3PM.  In the evenings, showtimes start around 7 or 8PM and end with a late show starting around 10PM.

Being some of the most popular, the choices that I have presented are just a fraction of how you can spend an unforgettable summer weekend in the city of “Big Shoulders”.  With so many choices for entertainment, Chicago is second to none.  You will have a memorable, fabulous time!

If you have any further questions about places to dine or events to see, feel free to contact me or my office.

E tickets are a form of ticketing that ticketmaster and other such primary source ticket sellers have been using for the past three years.  E tickets are an option that is given to original ticket buyers when purchasing tickets.  For example, when a person goes to buy tickets, he can usually opt to receive tickets in a number of ways:

    1. Hard tickets via standard mail.
    2. Hard tickets via shipper( Fed Ex or UPS).
    3. Tickets left at Will Call
    4. E tickets

If the ticket buyer selects the e ticket option he will simply receive an email from the ticket seller with an attachment.  The attachment can be opened and the tickets will become available for print on any standard printer.

There are several advantages to e tickets, which include the ability for the tickets to be reprinted.  This comes in handy when tickets are lost.  Instead of the old method of calling the ticket seller and spending 30 minutes on the phone and providing purchase information, e tickets provides a hassle free solution.  E tickets are great for the ticket seller as well, in that e tickets are totally automated which cuts employee costs.  E tickets are also excellent for the environment.  With e tickets simply being wired through the internet, there is no need for traportation costs which cuts down on natural resource consumption.

In deed there are many advantages to e tickets, there are some disadvatages as well.  Because these e tickets can be printed an infinite # of times, the aspect of fraud comes into play.  For instance, a person could simply by an e ticket,  make several copies and then sell it over the internet or at the venue several times over.  Unsuspecting buyers can no doubt, be scammed.  A remedy to any of these unwanted outcomes would be to simply purchase tickets from a ticket broker, where buyers have recourse!

If you have any questions regarding e tickets or need a second opinion before buying tickets, feel free to contact our office.

Have you ever had a bad ticket experience when purchasing events to a show?  Whether it’s through primary sources such as ticketmaster, or  secondary sources that compromise various ticket brokers and street sellers, problems can arise. So here are a few tips to help ease the pain and frustration.

Since ticketmaster is the original source for most events, problems are minimal.  When purchasing tickets through ticketmaster make sure that you have your credit card, and all of it’s billing address info ready. Ticketmaster is simple to use but because it runs on timers, you can sometimes lose your tickets if too much time is taken entering information!  This is very important especially when the event has just gone onsale and 1 million other fans are trying to buy the same event.

When buying through ticketbrokers, the buying experience can be a little more trivial, but with companies like ticketamerica.com worries can be virtually eliminated.  Here is a list of things to look for when purchasing through ticketbrokers:

    • Make sure that the company has been in business for at least 2 years.
    • Make sure that they are a member in goodstanding with the Better Business Bureau or the National Association of Ticketbrokers.
    • Make sure they have a physical office with an 800# where a live agent can be reached.
    • See what guarantees they offer to insure your ticket purchase.

When buying from street sellers, be careful!!!  Most street sellers are simply trying to hustle a fast buck.  They basically try to buy low from people with extra tickets and then resell them at a profit.  They may also be ticket brokers that are selling any extra tickets that did not previously sell. Worst of all there are the theives.  These little rats are basically selling fake tickets to unsuspecting fans!  Here are a couple of tips when buying tickets on the street:

    • Look at the tickets front and back, making sure their is print on both sides.
    • Make sure that there is some slight sheen appearence and feel to the tickets.
    •  Check to make sure that all the info on the ticket is correct, such as Date, Time, and consecutive seat #’s.
    • Have the ticket seller walk with you to the gate entrace and verify ticket authenticity.

If you have any questions regarding a ticket purchase or need an opinion about buying tickets, feel free to contact our office.
